Filed under: Art Supplies — rtecec @ 12:23:47

First of all,
how many colors can you name?

I have found in a newspaper article about this set of pastel colored pencils from Japanese well known mail order cataloger, ‘Fellissimo’.
Wow….
There are 500 colors in the complete set !!!!!
with an original name for each colors.
Just wow…

This 500 color pastel pencils set has been originally released back in 1992,  celebrating the 500th anniversary of the great Discovery by Columbus.
The original release was a limited production.
In 2009, Fellissimo will re-release the 500 color set.

Isn’t that wonderful to just look at all these colors?
Well,
some of the owners of this sets actually keep them as they originally are, just to look at them.

Hina dolls are traditional Japanese dolls of  a couple, wearing Kimono.   The complete set comes with 7 stairs-like platforms with all the people to serve the couple and a lot of decorations.  The simple set comes with just a couple with  flowers and light stands on both sides.  The expression of the dolls are usually with slight smile.
